(KTTS News) – Starting today, Grant Avenue will close to one-way southbound traffic only between Sunshine and University streets for construction related to the Grant Avenue Parkway corridor improvement project.
The roadway is expected to remain one-way in this segment of the Parkway route for approximately three months (weather permitting).
Final asphalt application is expected to take place in the springtime when temperatures are more suited to asphalt application.
Landscaping and tree planting along completed portions of the Grant Avenue Parkway is anticipated in spring or summer.
Northbound traffic between Sunshine and University is advised to follow the posted detour generally using Campbell Avenue.
