(KTTS News) — Springfield voters will be asked to approve two amendments on the ballot in the April election.
One would extend the mayor’s term from two years to four years.
The mayor would then be able to serve up to eight years in office.
The other amendment would create an ethics policy for all elected officials, appointed officers, board members, and city employees.
