Press Release
The Salvation Army of Springfield is grateful for all of the volunteers, groups, employees that went out to Ring bells during November and December in an effort to raise $300,000 for our Christmas kettle goal.
Although we did not reach that goal completely, we are still working during the month of January and asking for support from the community, to reach our overall fundraising goal of $1.170 million.
“The donors and residents of the Springfield community are extremely caring and compassionate toward agencies and organizations like ours. We continue to be able to serve those in need each and every year because of the support we receive. This year is no different. I am confident, that we will be able to reach our overall goal so that we can continue to meet human needs without discrimination, while preaching the gospel of Jesus.”
